Lean Into The Wind

The Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles don’t have much spare time. Why is that? It’s because their daily life includes both prayer and service to God’s people through healthcare, education, and spiritual retreats. Nevertheless, they have been kind and gracious in sharing their writing skills with us here at Roman Catholic Spiritual Direction for some time now. We are excited to share with you news of their musical expertise and lastest venture Lean into the Wind, a CD produced by the Sisters.

Called by God to be a presence inflamed within our world, witnessing to God’s love through prayer, joyful witness and loving service, this music springs from their mission to promote a deeper spiritual life. This is a brand new CD of 14 gorgeous songs, 12 of which are original compositions, which the Sisters themselves have written and have never been heard before. They are sung with all the joy and beauty that comes from a life dedicated to God.

Dan's Comment: “St. Augustine said that Singing belongs to the one who loves. I have no doubt that you will hear the love expressed in the sweet voices of the Carmelites of the Sacred Heart of Los Angeles.”
