Dear Friend in Christ,

Our latest Retreat Guide, Starlight: A Retreat Guide on the Three Wise Men, is NOW AVAILABLE at www.rcspirituality.org

The journey of the Three Wise Men who followed a star to Bethlehem, a journey which the entire Church celebrates on the Solemnity of Epiphany as the culmination of the liturgical seasons of Advent and Christmas, is like a living parable. And in this Retreat Guide we will dig into this living parable, seeking wisdom to help us along our own Christian journey.

In the first meditation, we will consider the star that guided the three Magi to Jesus.

In the second meditation, we will focus on some difficulties the Magi encountered along the way.

And in the conference and personal questionnaire, we will examine one way that we, just like the Magi, can offer our own treasures and gifts to Jesus as an act of worship, even while we are still in the middle of our journey.

A special THANK YOU! to those who have already contributed to our Help ‘Fill the Gap' fundraising campaign. With everyone's help we can reach our goal by the end of December so if you haven’t, please consider helping to keep the Retreat Guides coming in 2014. You can find more information HERE.

For more suggestions on living this Advent season you may enjoy a recent post I wrote HERE.

Assuring you of my prayers for you and your families during this time of Advent.

I remain, gladly, Yours in Christ,

Fr. John Bartunek, LC, SThD
