Thank you for this podcast. It is an excellant and very relevant discussion. Yes, the world does say that things of God are foolishness. The words of St Therese, Dr. Lilles, Dan, and Melissa really bring forth the truth that it is actually wisdom to love God and to do so without limits. Although most Catholics would agree with this concept, the messages of others and of the world in general do not align. St. Thesese said she would love God unto folly and she did. She is really aligned with God when she points out the folly which with He loved us because only a fool would love His Son so much that He would send Him to die. He is extravalent in His love and Mary imitated this as best she could in her extravalence of breaking the jar of precious oil to pour over the feet of Jesus, an act that can not be undone to reserve any last drops of the precious oil, in an act of giving all. THank you for the excellent points in discussing levels of desires and attractions and meaningful ideas which are truly nourishing and food for thought! Loved listening to this program!
