Families from Around the World
Saint John Paul II and Saint Gianna have been chosen as the two worthy Patron Saints to guide all in preparation and participation of this international event as they fully embody the history, mission and theme of the World Meeting of Families 2015. – Archbishop Charles J. Chaput
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to the work we do through the Avila Foundation to draw Christians worldwide into deeper union with Him. I am writing today to ask for your prayers and help with a very special mission this September.
God willing, we plan to participate in the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia from September 22 – 27. We need your support to bring our message where it is needed most — to visiting Church leaders and all Catholics from around the world! We will have an informational, interactive booth on-site with brochures, books, media displays, and other materials that reveal our worldwide efforts to draw hearts to God.
This week-long international event of prayer, catechesis, and celebration seeks to strengthen the bonds between families and to witness the crucial importance of marriage and the family to all of society. The Church leaders who attend are poised and committed to bringing spiritual renewal to the families in their care and service. As a partner of the Avila Foundation, you know the crucial importance of spiritual formation in that effort. Specifically, the Avila Institute prepares such leaders to deepen their own spiritual lives so that they accomplish the work God has given them empowered by His grace and work in their souls.
In order to get our message out and share our educational resources with the international leaders and Catholics who attend, we need your help. This wonderful opportunity for face-to-face encounters can’t happen without your support.
Will you consider a mission partnership gift in any amount to support our presence at the World Meeting of Families? We need to raise approximately $10,000 to cover the cost of attendance for four team members, including exhibit fees, travel, hotel, and registration fees.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment, support, and prayers. As part of the Avila Foundation family of donors, volunteers, and prayer partners, you are supporting spiritual renewal at a time when it is needed most. Your gift will travel far and wide on our mission to the World Meeting of Families this September.
Please pray that as we reveal the work of the Avila Institute, SpiritualDirection.com, Divine Intimacy Radio, and our other resources that God will allow us to serve an even broader audience around the world.
Yours in Christ,
PS: Any funds raised above our expenses will be applied to scholarships for priests, deacons, religious, and the faithful poor.
