Demons Speak What Language?

What Language do Demons Speak?

Father Fortea, what language do the demons speak?

Demons, as pure spirits, do not need a language to communicate with each other; they simply communicate at will through the power of thought. Human beings communicate through words, which are symbolic representations of our thoughts. Spiritual beings, on the other hand, transmit thought in a pure state without the need for mediation or signs.

About Fr. Jose Antonio Fortea

Father José Antonio Fortea is not only an exorcist, but also a writer, and parish priest. He once thought he would lead what he has termed ordinary life as an attorney in Madrid, much as his father did before him, but sensed instead a vocation to the priesthood in his adolescent years. A theology graduate of Navarre University in Spain, Father Fortea wrote a thesis there on exorcism. He has been a practicing exorcist for several decades.

Re: “Spiritual beings, on the other hand, transmit thought in a pure state without the need for mediation or signs.” This statement made me think that when we are in Heaven, we will communicate this way as well.

  • ThirstforTruth

Jeanette….That is an interesting observation but I would think, with our new and resurrected bodies, we would still have the capacity for language but I guess we
have to wait until we get there to be sure. Whichever it is, it will be fabulous and
    well, it will be heavenly!!

Thirst–Yes, I would expect we would still have the capacity for language then. But, I sure hope we’re in heaven long before we get our resurrected bodies back. Otherwise, that could mean a long stay in purgatory…and not something anyone relishes the thought of, I suppose. God bless you, ThristforTruth!

      • ThirstforTruth

Well for sure there is purgatory for most but this business of
what we call time beyond, in eternity, is another whole subject
and hard to fathom. As St Paul said, “Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, what glories God has prepared for those who love Him”. Whatever, its got to be good and worth the battle! Don’t you wish we heard more about heaven in our parish churches?

Demons do communicate between and amongst themselves in this manner as well as with humans, whether by planting images or conveying messages. In deliverance ministry aka exorcism, they will communicate in whatever language the human priest, minister, prayer team or afflicted understand…in addition to via the mind…the battle is a tough one but by the grace of God, the name and blood of Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit we will prevail as instruments and warriors for God. The afflicted, repressed, oppressed and possessed hear and experience this as well as the warriors for God. Once you see pure evil you will always see the unseen realm and trust me only by the grace of God do we mere instruments prevail, but remember always that even demons themselves acknowledge vocally that God is the ultimate creator! Praise God and blessings to all.
