Giving Thanks to the Lord!

Giving Thanks to the Lord!

PSALM 105:1-5

O give thanks to the LORD, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples!

Sing to him, sing praises to him,
tell of all his wonderful works!

Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!

Seek the LORD and his strength,
seek his presence continually.

Remember the wonderful works that he has done

    My blessed candles were lit and the house was sprinkled with holy water as the storms came.  We live about eight miles from the devastated area in southern Indiana.  Thank you, Lord for protecting us and be with those who have lost family members and homes.

  • Nonnie4

    Very happy that you are all safe…..God was with you!

    Thank the good Lord we didn’t have the tornados, but we did have very high winds (sustained close to 60 mph with peak gusts in the 80’s.)  The power was out most of yesterday, and I am praising God this morning for His great gift of a hot shower today (not kidding on this one, so much of the world doesn’t even have safe drinking water.)  After Mass, I’m going out to look for wind damage, and praise Him once again that it wasn’t any worse!

    I have been having radiant images appearing on a wall in my meditation room. The first one appeared about a month ago and was an angel like figure with radiant light emanating from it. About a week later, a dove like radiant image appeared above the angel. Yesterday a brilliant diamond like image appeared by itself. I have traveled to Avila to the places where Teresa lived and have read and embraced her writings. This diamond reminded me of her writing that she thought of the soul as a castle made as a single diamond. I would be most appreciative of your impression and understanding of these images. I look forward to any comments you may have.
