I have the app now and I love it! Thank you.

What great news!! This book has been the single most influential part of my spiritual journey… so glad to see it soaring!

I am a protestant, but recognise’s the love for Christ coming through “The Better Part” which i have as an app. I choose to gloss over the bits about the pope and Mary, but these references our minor compared to the wealth of commentary and meditation they are contained in. I also found Johns book on christian meditation very helpful. Yours in Christ Kevin

It’s too bad that the book is so expensive. I guess people who are poor and living from paycheck to paycheck just have to go it on our own. It’s ironic that in order to enrich your prayer life, you must first have the money to do it. Take it from experience, Jesus loved the poor, but the world doesn’t.

    • Dear Friend: True, the world doesn’t care for the poor. However, the people of God do. This is how millions get fed, medical attention, spritual food, every day of every year on every continent. Send me your address to and I will send you the book. This gift has one caveat. When you send the email, please note some kind of commitment you are willing to make to use the prayer method and to do so on a daily or weekly basis – whatever makes the most sense at the moment. God bless you, Dan!

I have and use this wonderful spiritual aide and would recommend to all
those who want to grow in their knowledge of scripture and faith. I would
even consider buying a newer edition IF the print were darker and larger.
As I am a senior my eyes are not what they used to be and I find the print VERY difficult to read in my current edition. Does anyone else find this to be true? Perhaps you might consider a large print edition? It would make my day!

    • Dear Friend: We would LOVE to offer a large print version. Maybe you could begin a prayer campaign for donations for this? We would need a donation of about $20,000 to get it done because of all the rework and print costs. That said, we would jump on the project if we could raise the funds.

The app is excellent for morning meditation!

Dear Dan, like I informed you before, though I have just a modest income which I live on, mine will be to pray for you that all your Plans and Projects will be fulfilled. This is God’s work and He sure will answer our prayers. My daily Divine Mercy Chaplet at the 3.00 O’clock Holy Hour will become two now because of this wonderful work you wish to accomplish. God bless you all on this Website.

    • Dear Mary – you don’t ever have to explain. I know you pray for us and we are grateful!

  • Chris

Any chance of you coming out with an Android App??

  • Brenda spieles

The Better Part is absolutley amazing. We use it to begin our prayer group.
We all take turns reading a paragraph and then answer the 4 questions at the end. Everyone who gets this book can’t believe how good it is. If you’re looking for a book to help you reflect on the Gospels, this is it. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry. Use will small group study groups, very simple and full of wisdom.

Is it possible to get “The Better Part” in an Android version?

    • Not yet. We don’t have the funds at the moment.

  • Corina

I LOVE the Better Part and I am patiently waiting for an Android version. How much funding does it take to launch something like this?

    • Dear Regina It would cost from 5-10k.
